School orientation Monday, Aug. 24

School orientation at Breiðholtsskóli will be held Monday, Aug. 24, 2026, as follows:

 

8:20 a.m.–12:30 p.m.. 2nd-4th grade

9–11:40 a.m.. Grades 5-7

10-11:30 a.m. — 8th–10th grade

 

Students arrive with their guardians in the school's assembly hall and then head to their classrooms with their homeroom teachers.

Students in 2nd–7th grade should bring a snack for the morning break. All students will receive lunch before going home.

 

First-grade students have been invited to meet with their homeroom teacher and parents on either Friday, Aug. 21, or Monday, Aug. 24.

School orientation for 1st grade will be held Tuesday, Aug. 25, at 8:20 a.m. in the assembly hall. Immediately after orientation, parents will receive an approximately one-hour introduction to school operations, while students head to their classrooms with their homeroom teachers.
