Bun Day - Bursting Day - Ash Wednesday
Some exciting days are ahead, with Bun Day, Bursting Day and Ash Wednesday coming up.
Today, Monday, Feb. 16, is Bun Day. It's tradition for students to bring buns to school to eat during snack time. In the Genius Workshop in second grade, students made Bun Day wands.
Wednesday, Feb. 18, is a shortened school day as we celebrate Ash Wednesday at school. It has become a tradition for students to come to school in costumes or pajamas on this day, and we have a great time.
Students arrive according to schedule at 8:20 a.m. Various fun activities will be available, including game stations, an obstacle course and face painting. Tenth-grade students will create a haunted house that everyone can visit.
