Icelandic Nature Day at Breiðholtsskóli
Students and staff at Breiðholtsskóli enjoyed a wonderful day on Sept. 16, celebrating Icelandic Nature Day.
All grade levels spent the day outdoors enjoying various fun activities, as shown in these photos. Some classes visited Elliðaárdalur, while others explored their local surroundings and cleaned up the school grounds and nearby areas. Fourth grade even hiked up Úlfarsfell, and all adolescent level students climbed Esja and enjoyed grilled hot dogs after their hike. The weather was beautiful and the day was a huge success all around, with nothing but smiles at the end of the school day.
