VÆB premieres the Children's Culture Festival 2026 song
Excitement filled Breiðholtsskóli yesterday as the Children's Culture Festival 2026 song debuted during a press conference in the school's assembly hall.
Students in grades three and four attended the event, watching the VÆB brothers take the stage to premiere their new track, composed in collaboration with fourth graders at Reykjavík primary schools.
This year's Children's Culture Festival theme centers on empathy and community, prompting students to answer questions about what these concepts mean to them. The song's lyrics draw directly from the children's responses and are titled "Sama hver það er" ("No matter who you are").
The Children's Culture Festival runs April 20-26 at venues across the city.
